When you go to the doctor, you KNOW you're going to have to wait . . . it's just a matter of whether it'll be 20 minutes or six days.
But there's a new survey that might help you get in and out of the doctor's office quicker . . . so you can get your hands on those sweet, sweet drugs. Here's what they found.
The hardest time to get an appointment is Friday at 10:00 A.M. The second-hardest is Friday at 2:00 P.M. And in general, the toughest times for ANY day of the week are 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M.
Mondays have the shortest average wait times. Thursdays have the longest.
Mondays are the worst day to see pediatricians, Wednesdays are the worst for dietitians, Fridays are the worst for acupuncturists, and Mondays and Fridays are the worst for chiropractors.
Tuesdays are the best time to try to get a last-minute appointment . . . but they're also the busiest days for doctors.
And finally, even if you hit a doctor's office at their least-busy time, you're still probably looking at a wait of at least 15 minutes.
